November 1977 - Saturday 5
309th Day - 56 Days to Come
At flea market in Mount Vernon bought MEN AND NUMBERS (edited by James R. Newman) for 25¢. (Thought that I might have it but couldn't locate any reference.)
At bazaar in White Plains Community Center bought MERCY ($3.00).
Also bought 2 boxes of "gold plated" paper clips and 2
boxes of "Tot 50 staples" - (20¢ each box). (Discovered that
I didn't have a "Tot" stapler.)
At home checked the game "MERCY" THE HOSPITAL GAME and,
although it was shrink-wrapped, two "insurance policies"
were missing. Took the three that I got from Ronnie Corn
on 11/6/76 and added them to the set.
Called Earl Perel. Apologized for not having him here for supper. He is quite busy too, but not on games. He saw Claude last night and left some stamps for me.
To visit Adela and Al Richter. Bought copy of BEYOND COMPETITION. With Brian & Laura first and then Al and me, all the P.E.G.S. games were played. Al liked "Soccer" best.
