Rcd. [received] the clipping from <u>THE PATENT TRADER</u> that <u>Joe Pascal</u> sent me.
 
Finished the new board for <u>CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY</u>.
Made the rest of the pcs. [pieces] for <u>TWISTS 'N' TURNS</u> and then a 5x5
board, finishing after company came.
 
Visit from the <u>Laurence</u>s. Played 4-hand <u>CHARLIE AND -----</u>.
They felt that the play was O.K., but too complicated for
8-year olds.
<br>Played <u>TWISTS 'N' TURNS</u> with Phil. Discovered at once that I didn't
need a rule to limit the number of enemy sides on the bottom
layer. also saw that two has to be the maximum number of
tiles that can be played on a turn. It is very difficult to stop the
opponent; possibly a 6x6 board would be better.
