Rcd. [received] form letter from A.H. [Avalon Hill] with pre-registration info on Origins '77.
Rcd. thank you letter from Bill Fletcher, concerning REVOLUTION. Attractive stationery with picture of GO game.

Called Phil Orbanes and told him I arrived at Stationery Show too late to meet him last Weds. [Wednesday] We both felt that the show was disappointing compared to several years ago.
Told him that I never rcd. a carbon of a letter on SPECTACULARS, that he said he sent to me. He'll check his files. Told him that it probably didn't matter much - Manny Lefkowitz may very well let it slide again.
I asked and he said that sales of THE WINNING TICKET are now at 205,000. (Later U.P.S. delivered the 6 copies he had sent.) He said he'd return the three games he borrowed from me next time we'll get together. He played HIDEAWAY at Ideal and no-one was excited about it.

Called Manny Lefkowitz in the morning. Not in and I left word for him to call me. (Didn't.)
