Call from <u>Felicia</u>. <u>Tom Shaw</u> told her they were taking <u>HIGH BID</u> | |||
and now are starting on an evaluation of <u>BAZAAR</u>. Told her that I'd | |||
write to Tom tomorrow - she wants a carbon for her files. | |||
<br>We talked about the Hallmark royalty. I said that it undoubtedly | |||
was a close-out, but at least it was nice that they paid royalties. | |||
Call from <u>Barbara Weinstein</u>. The affair on 5/15 doesn't require | |||
any preparation by me. Just be there. | |||
Call from <u>Wald</u>. He talked about a NYGA [New York Games Association] meeting, but he was really | |||
interested in coming over to give me a sales pitch for his new line- | |||
selling insurance. He said they were told not to try to sell friends, | |||
but to get referrals from friends. Told him - very truthfully - | |||
that I was much too busy for the next month or so. | |||
