St. Philip and St. James, Apostles - 122nd Day - 244 Days to Come
Rcd. [received] surprise check for $431.88 from Hallmark for FITTING & PROPER
and THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS - sold out at 59 1/2 ¢ each.
Rcd. letter from Graeme Levin asking me to reserve room for him at
Collingwood Hotel. Enclosed check for AGOG royalties - £ 49.23.
At bazaar in Edith's neighborhood bought copy of NUMBLE for ¢ 1. 7 tiles were missing but used those I had left over from the Russian SCRABBLE set to replace them. For 10¢ bought copy of BRIDGE IS MY GAME, by Goren.
During day played TOTALLY with BB and then played it 2-hand with Phil Laurence and then 4-hand.

saved for future use. If a player can build he can build up to the
number on the 3 regular dice. (For example with a total of 14 a
player, in zone Q, could build 2 units on "6" and one unit on "2" - the
lower numbers setting the cost per unit.) A player can use any
amount from 0 to the total of his dice. A player with the most
units in a building owns that building. In case of tie the player
with the lower unit wins. The game ends when one player uses up
all of his units. He gets a bonus of 25 points. All players count
the value - upper number - of each bldg. [building] they own. The player with
the lowest total is eliminated and the others recalculate the
bldgs. they own not counting the eliminated player's units. High
total wins.
It played quite well and was fun.
