Call from Felicia.
Call from Felicia. She thanked me for our birthday card.
I told her about the contract form from Bob Gellman - for
us to fill out for PATTON. I'll be in with it next week.
Slipped and told her about the bounced check from
THE INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW. Asked her not to repeat it.
Discussed 3DBOXES and she'll try getting in touch with
Stan Harfenist next Monday.
She was surprised that she got a fairly nice check from
S&R for BALI, even after the <s>other</s> overpayment for the
4th quarter of '72.
She had a letter from Odette Willis about MAGIC WAR TRAILS
and about her effort to have BALI done in France.
She still hadn't rcd. [received] THE BRAIN GAME and INVASION back
from 3M. She wrote to Kathy Brooks asking her to start a trace.
2nd Call. The two games from 3M just arrived.

Call from Phil Orbanes. He is testing some of the p&p
games with Nick and some others. Went over the rules for
SUPERGHOSTS.
He contacted Carl who is going to Guatemala Monday afternoon.
Phil will try and see him Monday morning. He will
show him the following: <s>LAPS</s> THE GREAT RACE (LAPS),
SPRINT (II RACES), LANDGRAB, PAYOFF, TRIVIA (Phil is using
a scoring rule that a unique word scores twice as much as
one that opponents used), SPACE STATIONS, COMBINATIONS,
SUPERGHOSTS (Phil was afraid that noone there would be
familiar with the name GHOSTS but I said that is one of
the most popular parlor games), INVESTIGATION - a name I
just thought of for WIRETAP or POWER NETWORK.
He will hold these for future submissions if req'd: -
AIR BATTLE, CONNECTIONS, CROSSFIRE (the HEX variation-
and another name will be required), HEXOWORD, DRILL FOR OIL,
NO WAY (Phil will talk to Manny - who originally said he'd
like a solitaire), TOURNEY (we both agreed that this is almost
certainly too difficult as it now stands), XANDO.
Phil will call me Monday with the results, if any.

2nd call from Phil Orbanes. He asked how many dice are used in
THE GREAT RACE. In SPRINT they found that it was rather long
when 4 play. They wanted to cut off one or two columns. Also they
wanted to give 2nd score to the player with the most spaces at
the time first is won. I said I didn't like the latter. But on
further thought, it might be O.K.

Wrote to Graeme Levin. Mentioned INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW,
EXECUTIVE DECISION, SLEUTH, PLOY, S&T, G&P, NETWORK, OSMOSIS,
LAP, TREK, SIGMA FILE, GAMES WITH PAPER & PENCIL, AGOG,
