Rcd. [received] a letter from Dollar Savings Bank saying that the $100 check

funds."
Wrote to Larry Blandin about it.

<u>BITSBITSBITS</u>, <u>SIM</u>, <u>LAS VEGAS POKER</u>.

Called <u>Mr. Shapiro</u> of Book Sales. He said he had rcd. Graeme
Levin's letter and had answered it. For reference he told me
that the retail price of <u>AGOG</u> is $2.98 and that there is
a reduction of 46% for a substantial amount (several thousand -
I believe).

Wrote to <u>Tom Atwater</u> asking about <u>HIT THE JACKPOT</u>.

Looking at <u>G&P</u> #16 (that I borrowed yesterday). Had articles
on <u>THE SIGMA FILE</u>; <u>NOVA</u>; <u>HEX</u>; <u>THE PHILOSPHERS GAME</u>
(<u>RITHMIMACHIA</u>); <u>ARITHMETICAL CHESS</u>; <u>C&O/B&O</u>; <u>KLIK</u>;
<u>THE GAME OF NATIONS</u>; <u>CHAOS</u>; <u>GAMES WITH PENCIL & PAPER</u> - which
includes, among others, <u>BOXES</u>, <u>BATTLESHIPS</u>, <u>GO-MOKU</u>, <u>ELEUSIS</u>,
<u>SPROUTS</u>, <u>SUBTERFUGE</u>, <u>THINK A LETTER</u>, <u>PENTOMINOES</u>. Letters to
editor - letter from <u>John Boardman</u> mentioning <u>MAH JONG</u> and
<u>SCIENCE AND CIVILIZATION IN CHINA</u>; readers asking about games
they remember - <u>CONFRONT</u>, <u>MILITAIRE</u>, and an unnamed <u>GAME</u>.
Ads for <u>TOURNAMENT GOLF</u>, <u>JACKPOT</u>, <u>MONEY GO ROUND</u>, <u>MASTER MIND</u>.

Called <u>Felicia</u>. Not in and left message for her to call me.

In Plastic catalog saw that 1/2" balls are 5¢ each, down to
2¢ each for 1000 or more. Called Steve Saxe about the
<u>GAME</u> we discussed yesterday. (I'll call it <u>LOUVER</u> as a
working title.) He'll check on the availability and price
of glass balls.

Called <u>Claude</u>. We'll go to Philadelphia next Friday unless
Claude has to work overtime Thursday night. He mentioned
a book <u>YOU CAN THINK BETTER THAN YOU THINK YOU CAN</u> which
says it has a lot of games, but they are probably puzzles.

BB suggested changing the house around again. Discussed it and
finally decided on her and I sharing the upstairs living room
while Dana takes both walls of Dale's room, except for the
6 boxes I have there. Put a lot of the duplicate games, both
mine and others, in 4 of those boxes.
