Called Phil Orbanes and arranged to go there earlier tomorrow
so that I can do some other things in the afternoon.
He will be bringing his notes on the game they didn't take
for the first series. He says there are 20 of them. I mentioned
the terms of our contract where Hoi Polloi only has first refusal
rights. I mentioned that I might want to place some of
the games that are rejected elsewhere. But then I said I'd
probably wait and if the royalties from Hoi Polloi are good I
won't go elsewhere. Phil appreciated that.
Later looked thru the information I had on the p&p games that I piled up last year. Found a diagram that at first I couldn't place. Finally realized that it was a "score sheet" to be used with GRASS ROOTS. Couldn't completely reconstruct the rules for the game, and couldn't find any notes on it.
Had a germ of an idea for a GAME. Have 16 dice which are set up at random 4x4 pattern. Players in turn move one die one or two numbers higher (going from 6 to 1). Object is to get various patterns. To be worked out. One rule probably worth using. A die cannot be changed unless there are at least two others showing that number.
