Played <u>POWER NETWORK</u> and <u>11 RACES</u> with <u>Phil Laurence</u>. Then started
a game of <u>LAPS</u> with the 4 of us. Bogged down and we
stopped it. Played most of a game of <u>11 RACES</u> but it ran
quite long and we quit before finishing. BB suggested shortening
the paths.
<br>Gave them a copy of <u>VEGAS 13</u>, <u>CHINESECHEK</u>, <u>DAM-IT!</u>, <u>WORDPLAY</u>,
and <u>NINETACTOE</u>.

<br>As an extension of this idea Wald had a rectangular
field with inclines on all 4 side. Object is to get as
many "spools" oscillating as possible, without hitting each other.
<br>Wald had ideas for starting a "game club" and I tried to keep
him down to earth.
<br>He is working with a company that has put out a word
game - <u>WORDMATE</u>. There are (I believe) 13 dials with
all 26 letters on each and other dials for keeping score.
Standard games, such as <u>GHOSTS</u> and <u>HANGMAN</u>, can be
played using this. Wald will help selling it at first (they
have sold some 10,000 already) and then, once they are in the
stores he will try and do some P.R. work for them.

and rules for a <u>GAME</u> for 50¢. Bought 1 for each of us.

go to the hobby store where he bought the plastic pcs. [pieces] I'll
try and get a letterhead from "Gamut of Games" so we can get a
reduction. Also we'll looks for <u>CIRCOLOGIC</u>.
