Rcd. [received] a letter from Graeme Levin. Mentions AGOG, TREK, and DAFT DRAUGHTS.
Also sent G&P #11 with articles on ACQUIRE (mine), THE BUSINESS GAME (THE JUNGLE GAME with new pcs. [pieces]), PROBE, DOMINOES - with one new game FIVES-AND-THREES, FORMULA 1, REBOUND, AVIATION, LEXICON, PENTOMINOES.

Rcd. THE GENERAL (Vol. 9, No. 5). Contains a PANZERBLITZ variation called INCREMENTAL PANZERBLITZ. Mentions that ARNHEM, OPERATION MARKET GARDEN is an excellent game and can be bought for $1.25. Also mentions THE BROTHERHOOD & VERDUN.
Rcd. MIDGARD Forum #5, which Tom Drake says is "final pre-game issue."

Call from Jerry D'Arcey. Drove to Americana. Picked up Jerry and Frank and drove Frank to Kennedy. Then here. Some things we discussed - not necessarily in order:
-MIND YOUR P'S AND Q'S. Jerry wanted info on this, which he said was put out by M.B. about 3 years ago. Couldn't find any info on it.
-SCRAMBLE WORD. This is the name of a game Jerry showed me Thurs. [Thursday] night. He and Hans Goldschmidt worked on it for a TV show. Actually it is very similar to PDQ.
-HEX-O-GRAM. The inventor is Tom Turner.
-OH HELL. Jerry sold his share in this for $400 from the gal who trade-marked it. Jerry placed it with Cadaco. The play is essentially the same as the standard game. Basically Cadaco was buying the trade-mark.
-The man to see at Lakeside is Stan Harfenist, who will now be based in N.Y. He doesn't want any more abstract games.
-GLOM (see 2/29/72). Jerry has been trying to make it into a game that is fun to play but hasn't been successful. He asked if I wanted to work on it and we'd split royalties. Told him I'd start thinking about it. He'll call it GLOB instead of GLOM.
-G&P. Showed #11 to Jerry. He is interested in subscribing. Told him that Frank Armbruster is handling subscriptions, but to try and get the price Don Miller is offering.
-Showed him my BOOK WORLD article. He didn't know about my writing it.
-TOP DOG is a possibility at Lakeside, and not completely dead at Parker. Jerry showed me it Thurs. There are 14 "dogs" and 2 shakers. As a solitaire it is just a question of counting how many throws are necessary to get them all sitting up. As a game the "dogs" and 2 are divided and each player throws as fast as possible trying to get them all sitting up first. It is much too easy to cheat; in fact it is difficult not to. Another game is to play individually. The player throws the 14 "dogs." He can score 100 for each one sitting up. Or he can rethrow the others to try for more sitting up. If a throw result in no dogs new "dogs" sitting up he loses all score for that turn.
-SUE ME. Bill Dohrmann is interested in the theme. Told Jerry that he didn't even want to look at TORTS-THE GAME OF SUIT AND COUNTERSUIT.
-BLOCKHEAD. Jerry's original contract expires soon. The one who
