Letter from Earl Perel. He'll send the material on DON'T BLOW A FUSE to Al Richter in a week or two.
Letter from Bill Rawlings. Sent me rules for COLLISION. He doesn't have the rules for FELIX & ROVER but suspects it is similar to FOX & GEESE or RIMAU-RIMAU.
Mentions PARITY, SPROUTS, KNIGHT-RELAY CHESS, & 2-SYMBOL UNAMBIGUOUS CHESS. Also TRIPPPLES and PLOY.

Telephone call from Roger Verhulst in Grand Rapids. A reader is interested in getting a copy of AGOG, which Roger has plugged 3 times, but can't find one. I told Roger about Waldenbooks probably having it; also gave him the address of "Book Sales; and failing that, I'll sell one to the reader. He has gotten a number of letters on AGOG, which is good since it shows that the column is being read. Most of his letters are from readers who can't locate a reviewed game.
He rcd. [received] word from Zeke Rose of Ideal, and thanked me for telling Zeke about him. Surprisingly, the only company that sends him games without his having to ask is Parker. Others, like 3M, he gets when he asks. And some, particularly M.B. [Milton Bradley] are not cooperative at all. I told him I'd talk to Mickey Mackay about him. I also said I'd give his name to small manufacturers at the Toy Fair. In that connection I suggested that he send me some of his cards to hand out. He said he would.
There is a possibility that King Features may syndicate his column. As soon as he can get in to Chicago he'll run off a set of all the columns and send them to me.
He mentioned someone in California doing a column on games and I told him of Richard Moon and the SAN MATEO TIMES.
He rcd. a copy of ACQUIRE and looks forward to playing it soon. We'll probably get together at THE INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW.

Called Arthur. Someone at Stein and Day gave him a galley of A TOY IS BORN. I am in a chapter on "The Professionals" together with Marvin Glass and a doll designer.

Working on packaging THE BRAIN GAME. Came up with names for the 9 companies and added them to the cards.
