To S.P.I. with intention of duplicating PUSHOVER set up sheet and the rules for PROPAGANDA for Lech. The machine wasn't working. Spoke to Jim and the end of this month is O.K. for my column.

In Metropolitan Book Store saw SECOND MISCELLANY OF PUZZLES for $1.75. (Checked and found I bought a copy in '71)

To "Gamut of Games." Phil Orbanes picked up a number of games at "Speakeasy Antiques" (where I bought SPOOF in 1971). He had HALMA, CALL ME LUCKY, QUARTERBACK (a football game, fairly complicated, done sometime in the '205), TICKER (a stock market game, without rules, or date but also probably in the '20s.
We played INFINITY, which is quite different than the version I saw several years ago. I made some suggestions concerning exactly how a "time piece" is earned, and also to allow looking at "stocked" tiles before taking one.
He asked me about going over the rule for INFINITY. We agreed that I would look them over for $50 - which is low but I am getting a good deal on REALM. He'd like the rules for both of them before Djoli gets back on 3/5. He'll call me tomorrow and we'll straighten out the details - since I had to rush to get to Felicia's.

To Felicia's. Odette Willis there. The only thing she had of Vittet's was a TV game DISCOBOLY and another one I didn't bother reading. DISCOBOLY consisted of throwing discs, at increaing distances and then either accepting the score or risking double or nothing on answering a question. (Rough idea.)
I told them that L'ANNEAU ENCHANTE DE TOM TIT looked like a good strategy game. Suggested to Odette that she have Vittet send a model with English rules.
She said that Vittet is all enthused about a GAME he is working on with 30 dice. Felicia mentioned SCARNE DICE.
Odette bought copies of ACQUIRE and BALI to send to Vittet. After Odette left we discussed: - Bob Johnson rcd. [received] IMPULSE and SPACE STIX but didn't get a chance to try them yet.
I mentioned TAU (I think in connection with SIJJEH) and she asked for info on it.
Bob Gellman gave her a letter of intent on GOLD (HIGH FINANCE) and she is leaving it with him. She doesn't think anyone else would be interested - even tho the inventor called her up to say that the dollar crisis would make the game very timely.
Told her about Lou Zocchi's STAR TREK and she said to have him send her STAR TREK BATTLE MANUAL. She might be able to place it with Harvey Gardner (which publisher?).
She didn't want to look at SARACEN, particularly since it has been shown.
Claude came and we played UPSTAGE, a full play. Then Claude played one scene with Felicia. He had a very good new model (not the one HASBRO did). Felicia liked it.
Claude mentioned that I was giving him a share
