Rcd. [received] Feb. [February] PLAYTHINGS. Owens-Illinois had ad for SUPER SLEUTH. Showcase had HEAD TO HEAD, A.H.'s [Avalon Hill] improved FOOTBALL STRATEGY, GOLF WINKS. Under "news" was FIND-THE-WORD. 2 classified Ads by GAME inventors.
Letter from Don Miller (card that is). He has cut rates for G&P subscriptions ($8 surface - $11 air). John Boardman also is an agent.
Asked for info on STAR TREK (Ideal).

Called "Book Sales" to ask about wholesale copies of AGOG (for Don Turnbull and Don Miller). Spoke to Mr. Shapiro. There is a reduction of 40% off the $2.98 retail for purchases of over $100 (retail value).

Called Fred Feucht. He has the typewritten rules for SUPER-TAC-TOE. He'll send me a Xerox. He has been trying to see Marshall Lucas during his trips to M.B. He did see his assistant and hopes to see Lucas soon. I told him that Herb Hochstetter had called Phil. I told him to keep me posted so that I don't end up having SUPER-TAC-TOE in two places.

Deposited Random House check in Knickerbocker. In a toy store on Boston Road looked at TOSS ACROSS in the window. Noticed that there is a triangular piece in each space with one face that belongs to neither player.

Jerry D'Arcey called from a hotel in New York. Talked awhile and they I called him back and we talked a lot more. He just came from Salem where he showed TOP DOG to Bill Dohrmann. His initial reaction was good, and he promised an answer in a week and a half.
Jerry and Frank Thibault will be in for Toy Fair. When Frank leaves Jerry will come here to stay. Told Jerry I rcd. CONTIGO.
