Rcd. a letter and an "Internal Status Report" from James J. Faulkner
([Personal address omitted for privacy]) who, apparently on his
own, is setting up a "Synergetic Systems" with a "Leisure Systems
Division." He wants to put out a series of "Portfolio of Games"
with CHESS, GO; some original games - NEXUS, PIPS, etc. He wants
to put out PLANK in the first series. He is interested, for the second
series, in PATTERNS II, LAP, THREE MUSKETEERS, HOLD THAT LINE. He also
asked whether he could steal BATTLESHIP and JOTTO.

Call from Felicia. Her aquaintance, Ruth Millard who did P.R. for M.B. is
interested in working for 3M, <s>She called Bill Caru</s> She, Felicia, wanted
Lee Horn's telephone number and I found it for her in the
folder with 3M publicity.
She rcd. a very nice letter from Chuck Titus. He thanked her for her
efforts for PSYCHE-PATHS but realizes that she won't be selling it.
He'd like his hand-made set returned. I told Felicia that, since I have
it, I'll mail it to him.
She rcd. a letter from Bob Johnson. He'll be glad to look at things
in May. However he was very anxious to see 2-hand strategy
games. I told her about DISPERSAL. I'll bring it to her Monday and she'll
send it out to him. I wondered why he kept wanting more and more
2-hand strategy games. She figures that Springbok will be putting
out a long series of them, similar to their jig-saw puzzles.

2nd call from Felicia. She called Bill Caruson to try and get some info
for Ruth Millard.
She asked Bill also about the games. The gamettes will continue as
they are for 1973. Then they will investigate "bulking them up" so that
they can sell for a higher price. PROFIT will be considered again for '74.
Bill Caruson said the older games are dropping off. Felicia said - ACQUIRE
too? But Bill said that it it holding up. Felicia said that he sounds more
