27 Saturday - January 1973
27th Day - 338 Days to Come
Finished and sent out a letter to Earl Perel. Mentioned
ZODIAC ZOO, PHILANTHROPY, ACQUIRE, and BOUNDARY.
Wrote to Colin Haycraft about AGOG.
Wrote to Graeme Levin about AGOG. Mentioned ACQUIRE and that
I haven't been getting copies of G&P.
Wrote to Don Turnbull accepting the job of Judge in the non-war
game ALBION competition. Mentioned ABSTRACTION, THE GAME OF THE CLANS,
MORDOR VERSUS THE WORLD IV, DELPHI, and THE CITIES GAME.
Played THE BRAIN GAME with the Baschkopfs. They liked it.
Showed THE GUIDE TO SIMULATIONS/GAMES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING
to Annette. Noticed a game TRADE AND DEVELOP for $4.00 that
might be worth getting.
Annette asked if I had equipment that she could use in school. Gave
her one of Armbruster's TANGRAMS sets. She asked if there were
outline cards on which to build the pictures. Told her I'd check with
him on it.

Played DISPERSAL with Dave Horn. Beat him 3 games to 2. He caught on very well and liked it.

different categories, the other player's only card of a category
cannot be taken while there are still cards remaining to be
bought. After all cards are out it can be taken.

it thru and told Gini that I'd talk to Phil Orbanes about it. The lawyer
is doing it on speculation, except that each one in the suit is giving
him $50 to $100 for out-of-pocket expenses. The lawyer's name
in case we want a copy of the brief:

She showed me a puzzle called ROAD MAP. There is a "board" with roads,
some spaces for "towns" and others for "signposts" with distances
to 2 "towns." Objects is to put the "towns" and "signposts" down so
that they are all consistent.
Her model was clay with pins sticking in it and looked pretty
bad. She realized this and seemed to like my suggestion
that she mount the board on metal and use mag-
