has had for 6 months, altho Bob promised him fast action.
<br>I told Frank about <u>FOCUS</u> being taken by Hallmark, and also that
Felicia has been told that Hallmark will be at the Stationery Show.
The only game of Frank's that Hallmark has taken is <u>TOTEM</u>.
Frank was instrumental in getting Hallmark to raise their advance to
$500 for two years. Now he thinks we should work for $500 for one year.
<br>He and Jerry D'Arcey will probably be coming together to Toy Fair
the week before 2/15. I had thought that when Jerry said he was
coming with Frank, it was <u>Frank Armbruster</u>. But Frank T. said that
they don't get along too well.
Wrote to Larry Blandin of the <u>INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW</u>, sending
him the promotional information he asked for.
To a party at Simulations to celebrate moving to the 9th floor, with
BB. Dale & Phil there too.
<br>Redmund told me that one of the workers in the art dept. discovered
<u>ACQUIRE</u> and loved it. Redmund told him that I had created it. Bob
Felice's wife said she was a <u>SLEUTH</u> freak and I told her about
the 2-hand version. She teaches in a private school and has used
<u>SLEUTH</u>, and my problem, with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

<br>Showed <u>THE GUIDE TO SIMULATIONS/GAMES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING</u> to
<u>Al Nofi</u>. He looked at a few of the entries and then said I could
keep it.
<br>Looked at Issue #3 of <u>CONFLICT</u>. The centerfold game was <u>ASSASSIN!</u>
<u>Al</u> says that they are supposed to have copies of most of the
competition games in the library but Beth often diverts them.
<br>Phil gave me a couple of pcs. of the stranded telephone wire left there.
Spoke to <u>Jim</u> about the <u>INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW</u>. He doubts if they'll
send anyone. I said I could look after their interests. No response.
Bought Jan. '73 <u>SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN</u>.
Call from <u>Claude</u>. We'll meet tomorrow. He'll bring the two copies
of <u>SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN</u> he bought for me. I'll return his copy
