Called <u>Claude</u>. Told him again about the demand for 2-hand
strategy games by Hallmark. He was thinking of working on
his <u>CROOKED BRIDGE</u> (see '63).
<br>He told me (not today but some time ago) that he had an idea
for making <u>LOA</u> more novel. The 4 center spaces have holes
and a piece landing there is out of the game. I felt that it
would make the game pretty much a question of landing
there to get rid of pcs. [pieces]
<br>I mentioned that I might do something with <u>THRUST</u> (see 3/15/66),
which I thought of prior to Claude's <u>LOA</u>.

Called <u>Kathy Brooks</u>, after going over the <u>EXECUTIVE DECISION</u>
rules and finding a few suggested corrections. Told her about them
and she agreed with me.
<br>I asked her about <u>PROFIT</u>. Around next May they will start evaluating
their next moves and <u>PROFIT</u> will be reconsidered then.
All evening and till late on a new <u>HABITAT</u> layout with 3 different pcs.
