Called Bill Eckhard, to ask him about VIEWLINE and JUNGLE RACE. He is in Portland all this week.

Rcd. [received] the rules for the following games from Don Turnbull, no message:- ABSTRACTION, MORDOR VERSUS THE WORLD IV, THE GAME OF THE CLANS. (Filed in Don Turnbull folder.)
Rcd. a letter and a catalog from Education Ventures, Inc. The catalog lists THE GARBAGE GAME, GENERATION RAP, PINK PEBBLES and a number of games for use in schools including THE WORLD PUZZLE, THE LAND USE GAME, THE GAME OF SACRIFICE, and THE ORIGAMI GAME.
Rcd. a letter from Charlie Hartman (a friend of Lou Zocchi). He wants advice on how to make money with his games. He mentioned the following names without details and also said he had many more:- KNOWERGASM, ECOLOGY WORDGAME (ADVOLVE). NEPTUNE, PRESSURES, KEYSTONES, DOMAIN, POSITION.

Rcd. a letter from Earl Perel. He is thinking of submitting ZODIAC ZOO to Mattel and PHILANTHROPY to 3M, and wants my advice.

Told Phil that TRIC-TRAC was quite complicated and we dropped it. I asked Phil when the various things he wants from me will be needed. Not before 3/1 and he'll let me know well in advanced.

To Simulations, mainly to see if anyone was going to the INTERNATIONAL GAME SHOW. Al Nofi had left and all the brass were in a staff meeting.

Rcd. a special delivery letter from Kathy Brooks with the latest EXECUTIVE DECISION rules and a request for me to call her as soon as I looked at them.

Call from and to Arthur. He wanted to know if I had heard from HASBRO, which I hadn't. He had a letter blocked out concerning their THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD and
