5 Friday - January 1973
5th Day - 360 Days to Come

Odette Willis called. Sick and couldn't make it today. I called Felicia and changed the date to Tuesday at 2. Called Odette to tell her.
While on the phone Felicia asked my opinion of what she should do about BALI. S&R [Selchow & Righter] hasn't fulfilled any of their promises to publicize it. I said that there really isn't any good place for BALI to go right now. Once Hallmark starts it should be the natural spot. Felicia agreed that she'd just have to wait.

Sandra Garson called. She was payed during the summer by American Airlines for her piece on games. They were supposed to send copies to her and to me. She hasn't heard from them either, and will contact them.
She saw an ad for AMERICAN EXPRESS MONEY CARD GAME in their magazine. It is a "special" for $11.00.
She had been investigating the possibility of putting out her game WORLD TRAVEL (see 6/8/72) but found that it would be too expensive and too time consuming. Now she is interested in finding a manufacturer for it. She has been in touch with Urban Systems and Games Research (I told her of Bob Abbott's experience with WHAT'S THAT ON MY HEAD?) She spoke to Bob Gellman when R.G.I. was still in being and found him very pleasant. She asked about Felicia as an agent, but decided that she didn't want to give up 35% of the royalties.
She'd like me to play her game (she knows that I did HOLIDAY). She invited me and BB to come up some evening. I'll call her to set up a date.
She gave me some info to pass on to Earl Perel on being a social director on a cruise ship.

Looked over the material I have on SCOTLAND YARD. Don't have exactly how it was last played, but I'm sure I won't have any trouble reconstructing it.

Gave Marylin a Bekins Box when she asked about buying one.

Arthur called to gab. He has some "mysterious" projects going. Wants to get together, but not now - Wald is tied up now with other problems.
Told him about Claude and testing games for Wexler-Strongin. He doesn't mind if Claude picks up some money this way.
