Rcd. [received] an X'Mas [Christmas] card from Gini. Outside of SCREWBALL very little
of her things have come thru. She is now contributing
editor for SIMULATIONS/GAMING/NEWS.
THE AMERICAN GAMES ASSOCIATION has merged into the
organization that puts out the periodical and her club is a
peaceful local games club again.
Bob Gellman called. R.G.I. is probably going to be taken over
by Athol Plastics - 200 5th Ave - Rm. 356 (924-7575). Unless
something goes wrong the signing should be this Friday.
They will be going with the sports games - big and little. Also
MOVIE MOGULS and MOVIE STARS. They will have a number
of prototypes of HOLIDAY ready for Toy Fair.
They have the art work ready for a game based on General
Patton. They'd like me to do the game. They'd like it authentic
but not nearly as complicated as an A.H. [Avalon Hill] game. Said I'd start
thinking of a PATTON game.
He'd like me to have the WHEELS game (see '72) ready in
two months.
Bob was thinking of only giving me 4% if I didn't have to
go thru Felicia, <s>I told him that</s> since he originally met me
at Brentano's. I told him that Felicia would get her share and
he agreed to thee 5%. On SCOTLAND YARD it will probably be
2 1/2% to me and 2 1/2% to the original inventor. Since they
don't have art work for this there may be a delay in putting
it out. (Looked at diary - Felicia said she only would take 15%.)
Bob said he'd call me next week and in the meantime not to tell
anyone.
