Hey royalty check from M.B. for THE CAR TRAVEL GAME was much better than last year.
She saw Racinelli of D.D.I. he is not looking now. SIJJEH and WILD WOOD PILE look good.

To 200 5th. At Press Room took Cadaco catalog. Went to a number of places that had action games, standards, etc. Also went to following:
Urban Systems - Nothing new in games. THE HOWARD HUGHES GAME wasn't displayed and I asked. They are under court order not to sell it in N.Y. but can elsewhere.
S&R [Selchow and Righter]. Gave the gal the Xerox picture of RSVP. I'll come back another time to see the new games.
G&R. Gave the gal the BOOK WORLD review with ON-WORDS. Apparently she has all the previous reviews.
Met someone demonstrating EL GAME. It is a game to teach a sheet with a number of lines of letters, each one serving for a game. A word card is turned and each player crosses out one letter from the word on that card each time it occurs on the line. as the game progresses the English word is turned but the Spanish must be used, etc. (Rough idea.) They will send me a copy. The French version is called LE GAME.
Took sheet from "Products of the Behavorial Sciences." ARVESTA is shown. GENIUS BLOCKS are not.
Took sheet for "Challenge Games Inc. It shows CHIRP, KEG, TAG (with subgames KEG and DOMINATE), and GAMBIT. The only one there was CHIRP. There are 8 pegs as shown with 12 light and 12 dark balls.

They are placed in turn and when all are on 1 point is scored for each line of 3.
Looked at the Aco sheet (actually did this at Felicia's) and TIC-TAC-TRIX is no longer listed.
Cadaco. New are THE MONEY GAME and DIG-IT (which is similar to Parker's discontinued DIG. Not in the catalog but being issued is MASTERMIND, which I bought last year in London. The salesman is very interested in my writing it up. He'll send me a copy and also THE MONEY GAME (altho I didn't promise to review the latter.)
He mentioned that STAY ALIVE was a Marvin Glass game.
Lakeside. Gave Karen the BOOK WORLD review of SPLIT-LEVEL AGGRAVATION. Another salesman gave me a copy of 3 UP, after we played a little.
Aurora. Helped demonstrate PURSUIT with a gal there. See glossy in Aurora folder for equipment. Each player starts with his three planes on the right end of the 1st, 3rd, and 5th levels. He sets the directions secretly. In turn players reveal the direction they are facing and then move
