11 TUESDAY - APRIL 1972
102ND DAY - 264 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. a call from Bernie Lane. My air tickets are on the way;
5:40 next Monday evening from LaGuardia.
John Rasor approved another $100 for the second day
there. No question at all.

Call from Felicia. Herb wanted to know if I had rcd. the
games from Dynamic Design. I told her that I had told
her before, but she has so much on her mind.
Felicia has a new game, JUNK, done by two women who
are new clients. Parker almost took it but then said
that they were only doing 2 board games in '73 and
contacted Felicia. They are thinking of tying it in
with Sanford and Son, an idea that Parker liked,
but not enough.
I asked about STONED. The inventor called her. She told him
that since it was unsolicited she gave it to me. He asked
who I was and then seemed satisfied.

Finished writing up 4000 A.D. and then did ORION, with a
great deal of difficulty. BB typed it late at night.

Rcd. a call from George Simor who is working on an article for
DER SPIEGEL. He got my name fron Nan Dimblick of G. & R.
Spoke to him for about half an hour. Asked him when the
article would come out. He is not sure, but soon. Asked him
for a tear sheet and he said he'll send one. To be safe I took
his number:

Called Richard Shuster (see 3/26). Arranged to pick up a copy
of ECCENTRIC at his office - D.K.G., 38th Floor, Time-Life
Bldg. (50th & 6th Ave.) - tomorrow morning. He described it said
it was based on deduction and I mentioned that I had
done SLEUTH. Then he described his game and it sounded just like CLUE.
