X'Mas card from Frank Thibault. Very short message.
Letter from Haar Hoolim. Mentions THE L GAME, G&P, Q-BITS, CHINESE MATCHING CARDS, CHESS, CHECKERS, GO, FOCUS, EPAMINONDAS, CROSSINGS, MASTERMIND, LIVE AND LEARN, ALERT, ULTIMA, HALMA, CHINESE CHECKERS, SEEJEH, MANCALA, ANTI-MONOPOLY, and some new GAME ideas. Also STACK UP.
Enclosed clippings: CHESS match. Article on game co. with picture of their game WHO HAS A LINE? Article on Aviezri Frankel the inventor of ARROWS. Article on SEEJEH. Article on Jigsaw puzzles. Article on GO. Repro of a nice letter to him from Bonnie Belkin. Also two pictures of himself.
Bought package of 80 6 1/4"x5 1/2" baggies - 39¢.
Played ANOTHER with Dave Horn, Laurie, and Alan. They liked it. (Later thinking that the scoring, giving the player with most - when 2 or 4 play - that amount is unbalanced. Instead give the amount minus 10. This will give scores from 3 to 14. As a bonus for getting all cards, the score should be 24 instead of 14.)
After they left played PEACE CONFERENCE with BB and Dana, using my idea of 12/23. Worked O.K.
Incidentally, the model that Hallmark sent back of ANOTHER is pretty bad. I have to add blue pcs. pf contact to differentiate the blue pcs. from the green.
