9 MONDAY - AUGUST 1976
222ND DAY - 144 DAYS TO COME

Call from Felicia. She rcd. a letter and catalog from Bob Johnson. She read off the names of the games and a few sounded familiar. Made date for Weds. afternoon and I'll look at the catalog then. In the letter he said that Hallmark is definitely in the family game area - the way for them. He will be in to see what she has to show him sometime before going to Germany to see what they have available. He wants to hold THE ZOO KEEPER until Jan. She is fed up with Hallmark and him , but everyone else has seen that game.
She read me a letter from Steve Curtis. He is looking forward to seeing my "new" game BAZAAR. He is very busy now filling X'Mas orders. But things will ease up soon and he'll get to considering it. He also expects to get in [to] see her before too long.

Rcd. a letter from Gini Scott. Probably she won't sue over the puzzles. She'll let us decide what is fair about SWUASH. Would like to get together.

Rcd. letter from Bob Abbott, together with some publicity material on EPAMINONDAS.

Wrote rules for DIAMOND MINE. Went over the changes that Joe Scott and I discussed in FOUR-ARMED BANDIT. Made the markers for DIAMOND MINE. Started the position diagram for DICKENS.
