He almost got a job with a TV game show in California, but
it is dead now. He is working on a CARD card GAME on
assignment for a company not specifically in the game business.
He is thinking of putting out 1000 decks of TREFFLES himself.
It will cost him about $1,000. He thinks that Games Gallery,
Child Craft, and Alice McElhone will handle it. He also plans
on advertising in "Rolling Stone" and "New York Mag.".
He bought a copy of FOCUS at a street fair and was surprised
when he saw it was by me. Told him that FOCUS was in AGOG.
He also bought THE GREAT AMERICAN CONVENTION AND MEETING GAME
which has a board that looks a little like MONOPOLY and appears
to be a race game. It features the Hyatt Hotel, Florida.
He bought a copy of ORION at Brentanos & likes it. At Stationery
Show, where he met me , he bought HARE & TORTOISE and he
doesn't care for it. He is thinking of getting LONDON CABBY GAME
and I told him not to.
He invited me (us?) to his 30th birthday party this
coming Weds. It will be for game playing and Wald may
be there. Told him I'd love to, but how busy I am prior
to my trip.
Did the six illustrations for BEYOND WORDS. Noticed
changes in Tolstoy TOLSTOY that weren't followed thru and
one improvement in POE.
Played DIAMOND MINE with the Horn's.
