At bazaar in L.I. bought 7 cards - at 5¢ each - of "charms" in the
form of jars of various name brand foods. 20 on a card.
At a garage sale in L.I. bought an 1970 repro of an 1889 M.B.
amusement: BRADLEY'S INTERCHANGEABLE COMBINATION CIRCUS (25¢)
and a pocket peg CHESS set (25¢).

Bernice thought of the idea of naming my word games after various
authors. POE would be good for ABC D-DUCTION, JOYCE would be o.k. for WORD RACE, and O. HENRY for NIM-WORD. DICKENS would be a good name but for which game?

"shots" consist of 2-letter combinations. (Rough idea, and it
needs a lot of changes to make it into a game.)

Horn was looking at a number of my books and was particularly
interested in THE MONEY GAME. I asked and he said that he gives lectures in Simulation Gaming and this is the earliest he
has seen. He also took the
He asked to borrow my copy but understood why I wouldn't
loan it. Mentioned the Claude Soucie had a copy. Horn is
willing to buy it for $10 or to rent it for copying for $5.
He took the address for EN GARDE! Rcd. an answer from "Originals Only" with info on O-Shlemeil
and statement that a set is on the way.
