NOVEMBER 1975 - FRIDAY 7
311TH DAY - 54 DAYS TO COME

Rcd. a letter from Marilyn Nierenberg with the photo
of me that I requested. $2.25.

Called Bob Gellman. to tell Still not in. Told Stan that
two dice were sufficient for THE GAME CUBE. He was happy to
hear this.

Played my word GAME (which I later called NIM-WORD)
with BB. She liked it and won.
Later decided to change the scoring so that a player
winning a section scores the number of boxes with his color minus
10. (With scoring the entire amount, the one winning the most
sections almost invariably would win the game.) With more than
2 players the amount subtracted would have to be less.
Also the size of the section has a bearing.
With 3 or [more?] players the scoring might be as follows: The player
winning a scetion scores his boxes, the player immediately
before scores nothing, the other player(s) scores - say - half
of his boxes.
A scoring section should be added and the letter distribution
has to be changed somewhat.

On TV saw an ad for Hasbro's SPELLBOUND.
