one red die with one of the white to pick a space to claim.
At first the 3rd die was written in as a "payoff number"
but I found this cluttered the board and didn't ass to the
primary interest of the game. Phil agreed. "When 2 play"
after each round two dice <s>were</s> are thrown to pick
a space that is eliminated from the game. We thought
of, but didn't try, allowing the player <s>who</s> with the
lower score to throw three dice at the end of each
turn and pick a space to eliminate - to give him a handicap.
<br>For getting a space next to one owned previously score
10 points; next to two - 25 points; three - 50 points; four -
100 points. Thinking of a penalty for an isolated space
at end of game but didn't resolve this.
<br>At first Phil has a "pay off", somewhat similar to <u>TAM-BIT</u>,
for a throw of three dice that didn't allow a new space
to be taken. I suggested allowing choice of one of the
spaces determined by the dice and taking a space if
any empty, in line with it. (Took the sheet we played.)
<br>-<s>coMBIN</s> <br>COMBINATIONS</u>. He liked the game and the name.
<br><u>END OF THE LINE</u> (Phil's). Started a game but I found that
there was no room for either skill or judgement and we stopped.
(Took the sheet.) Basically two dice are thrown. One can be
chosen for a line and the other number of spaces marked
out on that line. Score for filling out a line evenly.
<br>-<u>11 RACES</u>. Played and it held the interest completely. Thinking
of names and <s>com</s> came up with <u>SPRINT</u>.
<br>-<u>SUPERGHOSTS</u>. Played just one word. He like it.
