Call from Felicia. Nothing specific. She was horrified over Toy Fair.
Also she thinks I should stop working on business games, like
THE BRAIN GAME, and come up with something for Parker.

Rcd. a letter from Walter Dykoski. Mentions STRATO CHESS. Sent corrected
rules for CRESCENDO and tentative rules for
STRATO CHECKERS - DOUBLES. Has rcd. about a dozen orders thru my
S & T column. Asked for backnumbers of #34, #35, and #36.
Sent me check for $10.
Rcd. a copy of his game IMPASSE from Phil Shoptaugh. Also
a letter mentioning TAU, IMPASSE, CLUSTER, and THE LINE GAME.
And a patent on the latter (#3,695,615). Also mentions HEX
and BRIDG-IT. He will probably [be?] in for the show in May.

Rcd. a call from Mr. Morin of Random House concerning AGOG. The
"permission" was for another book. They are now checking the
rest of my report to see if that is in error too. I'm to call
him Tuesday to get the results.

Call from Felicia; Gini Scott had been there for a long time
and made liberal use of the phone. In turn Gini said that she'd
have someone at M.B.'s educational line call Felicia. Felicia had been
trying to reach him without success. (Gini kept her promise.)
Felicia decided not to handle Gini.
Alan Turoff came in while Gini was there and asked if Springbok
was coming out with his item. Gini appeared not to notice, but
Gini said that SCREWBALL earned about $7,000. Someone else gets a share.
Doing some catching up on game diary

In evening called the Americana. Frank Thibault called me back. He
has a date tomorrow to show STACTICS and RAC-A-TAC to Hasbro.
They'll call me tomorrow about picking up Jerry and (probably)
bringing Frank to the airport.
Frank said that Minor is interested in GO BUGGIE.

bought it out and may move it elsewhere if he can get a better deal.
Jerry has the possibility of an action game and a children's
game with Saalfield.
Frank showed STACTICS to Hasbro even tho that fellow told them
him they were working on something similar themselves. Frank
has shown it everywhere so there is no big loss if they steal it.
Frank spoke to the people at Wham-O and told them they had a
bad reputation and no one wanted to submit things to them. They
were quite concerned.
Frank has a possible outdoor GAME with a manufacturer. Large dice
that are knocked out of a circle. (Very rough idea.)
