13 TUESDAY * NOVEMBER 1973
317TH DAY * 48 DAYS TO COME

Call from Felicia. Yesterday she tried all day to
contact the people at Kohner at 200 Fifth that
Stubbman had mentioned. Finally when she told the
secretary to forget about it till next week she
got interested. Mr. Frankel will be at the factory on
Tuesday (today) but will get back to Felicia tomorrow,
and will arrange for seeing POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER
and ECLIPSE.
I suggested that if we struck out at Kohner with
POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER we should send it to Bob
Johnson again as SHAPE AND SHATTER, since it is so much
improved. She snapped that things are all up in the air at
Hallmark and she wouldn't send it to them before asking. I
said by all means do that. There is a new man at
Hallmark, but Bob Johnson said it wouldn't affect him.
She has asked Bob twice to check on THE 31ST HEX and
PUSHOVER.
I told Felicia that Bob Gellman had said that he rcd. a good reorder
from F.A.O. Schwarz for HOLIDAY and PATTON, which cheered
her up.

He heard of me, before he left for N.Y., at S.P.I. He is setting
up some kind of meeting of people at ATT who deal with
the public. He was interested in a game simulations game
that he could use it the meeting. I told him about
THE GUIDE TO SIMULATIONS/GAMES FOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING
and he'll get a copy. When he asked about commercial
games I told him that I had done EXECUTIVE DECISION. Later
he asked if I could do the game specially for him.
Yes - $20 an hour. I may hear from him. In case I come
across anything I can call him collect.

In my talk with Felicia, Dick Harris' visit to see
3D BOXES came up. It may be as early as next week.
Since BB was going to N.Y. I arranged for her to
pick up the models of 3D BOXES and PROFIT. The
latter was turned out to be a rough set, not the
one I originally sent to 3M.

Put contact on the cardboard POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER
pcs.

Rcd. copies of all of Roger Verhulst's CHICAGO TRIBUNE
columns, together with a letter thinking me for having
people send him games. The games covered are:
