Tenth Sunday After Pentecost - 231st day - 134 days to come

came from. I made repros [reproductions] for myself, but Claude took the repros and gave me the original. (Filed in '73 misc. [1973 miscellaneous])
Bob Abbott drove Earl to the subway. Claude found some fellows who tested his game DIABOLIQUE for quite a while. I joined in for a few minutes and then left. Claude used the rule that I suggested (mentioning that others had thought of it) allowing a win with a row of 3 that added to the "target number." This seemed more of a game.
Told Claude of Felicia getting the check and contract for DUEL and that I'd be there Tuesday at 2:30. He's not sure whether he will be able to make it. If not he'll call Felicia.

The letter that I sent to Prince Djoli Kansil on 11/15/72 on REALM and MONTAGE was returned.

There was a notice from UPS about a package from "Research Games." They'll try again Tuesday. Probably PATTON or HOLIDAY or both.

[arrow point to paragraph above and paragraph below] [started 8/31]

At Simulations Dave Levine said hello. I asked him if he had rcd. [received] the KURSK game as a prize for the SLEUTH problem. He said that Fred Schachter had refused to give it to him. I took his address to send him one: - {David Levine [address]
But then Al Nofi passed by and gave him a copy.
A fellow who used to be the editor of MOVES drove me to the 14st St. subway stop. He is very bitter over Jim Dunnigan, but came tonight to see Redmund, who didn't stay for the evening.

He told Felicia that, together with some other things, he would be sending her the rules for HONORABLE RELATIONS (??)
Felicia said that they are shipping the games already but that she won't both them for copies of us.
Went over the things Felicia has of mine. Left the following with her: - TRAVELINE, SPECTRUM, LOTTERY, THE BRAIN GAME, FREE FORM.
Took the following with me, as having no chance: - FOREIGN INTRIGUE, INVASION, PAIR OFF, WILD WOOD PILE, X CHANGE WORD, WINDOW PAINS. Also took Al Richter's QUADRUME and TRY-ANGLES.
Took PUSHOVER back to work on the puzzle and to prepare a 6" by 6" model.
