article in PARADE - "Peace Is the Name of the Game" which
covers DIPLOMACY and ORIGINS OF WORLD WAR II; the MONEYSWORTH
article; my 1970 BOOKWORLD article; a sword-and-
sorcery game LANKMHAR which may still be available,
Mentions QUADS.
Rcd. a letter from Don Turnbull. mentions SLEUTH, EXECUTIVE DECISION,
CLUEDO, ALBION, THE NEXT PRESIDENT, Omar DeWitt,
FACTS IN FIVE, MONAD, VENTURE, SMOG, BAZAAR, FEUDAL,
ACQUIRE, PLOY, NEW TOWN, EXTINCTION, VECTOR,
CAVEAT EMPTOR, ADULTERY, SEDUCTION, AGOG.

Called Phil to ask whether there would be a "Hold Harmless"
clause in the contracts with Hoi Polloi. He reminded
me that Carl had said there wouldn't be such a clause
when he said he wants the contracts with us rather than
I.-Q.

Drew up a double diagram for the 3-D p & p GAME (later
called SPACE STATIONS).
Made a new board for ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS.

The sister of the inventor of TRIPPPLES called from Connecticut.
Asked if I had rcd. the game she sent. Yes, and I like it.
Told her that it would be in S & T and BOOKWORLD.
She has been visiting stores to try and place TRIPPPLES.
She found a very complete game store : -

I told her about Johnson's in Springfield.

Played ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS with the Richters.
Used the rule that new cards are covered as in the
beginning. Played pretty poorly. Played ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS
with Elliott and Marcy, Dave's daughter.
Thought of a BINGO type game for View Master, instead of
THE FAIRY TALE GAME. Possible name VIMGO.

Called Tom Atwater to see if he had sent the contracts
for ODD OR EVEN, INTERPLAY, and TEMPO. Yes, today.
He rcd. TRIOKER and felt it was just the same as
TRI-OMINOS. Told him that there was much more variety.

In RENDEZVOUS, instead of starting at a corner, I started
at A.
Phil said that an article like my column in S & T should be
