3 THURSDAY - AUGUST 1972
216TH DAY - 150 DAYS TO COME

Finished going thru the personal diaries. Leonard Willet called
and I told him the totals. Met him near bus terminal
and drove to I.R.S. at Jerome Ave. Our auditor was very
pleasant. Didn't finish by 5 and Leonard will come back
on 8/16 without me. Looks encouraging.

Letter from Tom Atwater. He was contacted by David Eisandrath,
and wants me to send him TRIOKER.
Rcd. statement and check for $5.33 from I-Q for
NINE OF SWORDS.
Rcd. THE GAMESLETTER (#39), with a note from Don Miller
saying that he rcd. FEUDAL & TWIXT and is crediting me.

Went over the material on TRIOKER. Decided not to
make a copy of all the different shapes. I will reproduce
some of the English translation of the rules, which
contains material not in the French original.

In THE GAMESLETTER there was a mention of DIPLOMACY
type game - MIDGARD. Rules cost 50 [cents].

BB got the book on "The Making of the President" from
the library and I started thinking of a game for
HASBRO - THE MAKING OF THE PRESIDENT. One thought -
have the scoring measured on a "Popularity Pole". Also
did some thinking on CASINO ROYALE.

Working on a new card set up for ONE AT A TIME BY THE MILLIONS.
Eliminated Dick Butkus and made "Cover" the * * * * card.
Cut number of cards to 48. Was able to use most of the
previous cards but made a few new ones. Crossed out some spaces
on the board. Also added more stars to some of the cards.
Played with the Richters. Putting markers on all the cards
at the start made it start off faster. Decided to fill in
markers on the 4 new cards each time there is a take-off.

Phil & Dale brought me 3 of the new T.S.Gs : - SOLDIERS,
FRANCO-PRUSSIAN WAR, THE MOSCOW CAMPAIGN. Also a number of
jig-saw puzzles sent by Franklin Merchandising. Most of them
are packaged like food and the pictures are of that food.

He'll give it to me since he bought it for the equipment.
Discussed HASBRO some more.
