for preparing the boards. That is, I thought of this as
a way of merchandising games, rather than the individual
games themselves, which I can work up when necessary.
While in New Jersey called Joe Weisbecker (see 11/26). Had
a long conversation. Most of his stuff is gadgets, largely
magnetic, or flip-flops. The item with Parker consists
of dropping markers thru the chimney of a house and
guessing which door it will appear behind (this is FLEEP HOUSE
in his letter).
He will send me a copy of PSYCHEDELIC-9 which is a type
of TIC-TAC-TOE with different sized pieces.
I asked him about DEDUCESPOT. It is done with magnetic
spots but I didn't get the explanation on the phone.
I told him of my review of DECISIONS - DECISIONS in S & T
and told him I'd send him a copy.

Bought blue paint for painting small markers for use in COUNTERPOINT.

Rcd. an envelope from "Game of the Month Club Inc." (N.Y.)
contained a puzzle of fitting joined triangles into a container.
The booklet contained a good selection of games,
but none I paticularly wanted to buy. It had VECTOR
which I would have gotten if I didn't buy it at A & S.
They have provision for a membership for $1 if no games
are purchased. I think I'll <s>send</s> send this.

Rcd. a letter from:
{San Francisco, Cal. 94114
He is a member of I.D.E.A.S. (Which Frank Thibeault
told me about) and he got my home & address
from Martin Gardner. He asked me a lot
of questions on copyrights, etc.

Rcd. a letter from Jerry D'Arcey. Pretty much apologized for
his last letter. He is working on a money game COMMODITY.
He bought ACQUIRE for his son, but won't look at it before
finishing his game.
PLUG-A-JUG, THE IMPUZZABLES, CROSS UP POKER
all are doing well.
