THURSDAY 20 NOVEMBER 1969
324th day - 41 days to come

Called Hank Miles of [illegible crossed out] Monitor. The interview will only touch on biblical times and then move to the present. Diane called and we
arranged to meet at NBC. Did. Taped the interview. Got a little
long winded in my descriptions of the games but Diane says they'll
cut it to about half the length and streamline my remarks.
Walked a little after the taping went into Harcourt-Brace book store
and asked for AGOG. The clerk said they were sold out and he has to
order so more. He wondered why there were so many calls for it. I
mentioned SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN and Diane WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY. He thought it was the latter.
After a very pleasant meal at Le Bistro she took off for home and
I went to Bloomingdales. They had all 4 of my 3M games
and AGOG, a good position for the latter.
Saw GROUP THERAPY again (see 11/4). The 8 spaces of the first
color include the "Hung Up square. The 2nd & 8th space in the 2nd
color are marked "Group Therapy". The 5th space in the 3rd color
is marked "Group Therapy" and the 8th is "Free". The cards the players
use to pass on another's performance are marked "With It" on one
side and "Cop Out on the other.
Saw HI-SPOT. The plastic squares vary from 1 spot to 6 spots.
The 6 spots were all in two rows of three, Plagers play with 4 squares
on their rack. If can't make a play can trade from 1 to 4 squares
by drawing new ones from the grab bag and then putting your's back.
When 9 dots are placed in a space all the squaves in the pile are
returned to the grab bag. 200 points wins.
When talking with Diane asked if she rcd. the Dec.
PACE yet. No. She's going to send a messinger to try and find
it Asked her to have him get one for me.
She'll probably wone for supper and to see my collection
in about two weeks.

Rcd. the rules, but not the board yet, for GALACTIC DIPLOMACY.

TOTALLY-- came back. The boxes of squares were missing.

Sally Kovalchick sent me a copy of the WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY review in case I didn't see it yet.

Called Arthur and asked him to pick up a copy of PACE magazine.
Yes. Discussed the rave[?] letter on LOA. Neither he nor Wald think that it is more then pedestrian. Lillian Barasch called. She read an "Obaly Human column about a woman expert on palmistry and handwriting anyalyis: Lillian wrote the news and got the woman's address and phone number, she was very bleasant when Lillian called her ? of interest to me is that she sold a palmistry GAME to Parker daeth at the next "toy fain" Also her husband is interested in "promoting games. He would very much like to meet me, The adress is : -
