When 2 play or 4 in teams, the first to get 75
points wins.
When 3 or 4 play each for himself, each time a
player forms a scoring configuration it is scored by
the player immediately proceeding him. When with 3 one
player reaches 50 points, or with 4 one reaches 40 points,
the game is over and the one with the least score wins.
(Haven't tried it, but it seems like it will work.)
Fay Baker called. She is finished with her book and
now she wants me to work on getting more audience
participation into <u>TREASURE HUNT</u>. I told her I was
too busy. She then asked me to send her a letter saying
it was O.K. for her to get someone else in to work on
it. I told her to send me a statement & I'd sign it.
To Felicia's with the 3M foreign agreement on <u>BAZAAR</u>
and <u>ACQUIRE</u>. We signed them. Left one with her,
took another for myself, and I'll mail the one to Redpath
since she is so busy moving. She'll write a covering letter
Monday.
Called Martin. He called Bob Scott at Science Book of the
Month Club. He is very impressed with <u>''A GAMUT OF GAMES''</u>
and will almost certainly have it as a selection, but doesn't
know exactly how soon.
Martin said that he had been trying to get a cover for
a year and he was pleased at getting one thru the book.
He saw the cover. They are using the diagram I had
with the symbols in boxes of 4.
I asked him about the possibility of an advance
copy of his column for Jean Ennis. Not conveniently.
Played several games of <u>LOGI-QUAD</u> with BB. It is
a pleasant game.
