can be stacked in interesting ways. Play continues until a player causes the stack to fall. However it is more of construction toy than a game. (Frank Armbruster is putting it out with the idea of getting some other company to take over. Frank is doing a line of puzzles which will be packaged as BALI-BUTTONS is. This is the puzzle of 16 pieces of 4 colors and shapes which must be placed in a 4 x 4 array so that no two the same are in the same line. They will also has a pseudo-mythical story. Frank will send me a sample of the puzzle format.) PLOY :- I mentioned that I had a game ARROW CHESS from a long time ago & showed my file card to Frank. He said that was pretty much his original starting point, but with full movement in the direction of the arrow there was no defense. He then worked out the limited move. JUG-A-LUG :- Parker has taken this and given Jerry a $2,500 advance. They are calling it PLUG-A-JUG. REGATTA :- Bill Caruson estimated his 3rd quarter royalty at about $500. 3M wants Frank to do a BASKETBALL game. They have a- nother but are holding up a decision on it waiting for Frank. Frank's heart is really not in it. Frank says that Lakeside is opening up to all types of games, not only the low ticket items they are now doing. When I called Jerry and got the answering service she told him I was interested in Richard Boone, not Richard Moon. Frank will remind Jerry of his promise to look Moon up. Frank recieved a newsletter from a game group called IDEA. (This may be the one Mike Abraham is in.) I asked him to send me repros. He said he would. After I met him at lunch time we went to Transogram looking for his coat. He introduced me to Dick Botto (I'm not sure this is quite right) who is in development. He said they are looking at all kinds of games.
