WEDNESDAY 13 AUGUST 1969
225th day - 140 days to come
Rcd. a letter from some kind of doctor in Long Beach who heard that
I am interested in games (where?) and invented one and wanted
to know if I'd like to look at it. Would also like information on
FOCUS. He wants to give me a copy of his GAME.
Claude called. Nothing particular about games.
In the middle of the night called Jim Dunnigan at G.E. to check about
tomorrow. It's on.
Phil is going to use his old Gamescience stationery to write to the
game development people in the TOYS & NOVELTIES Directory and
ask them to describe their services for his possible use.
He found 6 columns from Jared Johnson, one of which - the one on
UNIVERSE - was used. Jim wondered why the others weren't used.
Possibly the response wasn't good, or Chris just may not have gotten
around to the others.
Rcd. a post card from the Fredericks. In the Smithsonian
Inst. they saw a copy of a M.B. game called CHUBA,
patented March 17, 1891.
