M.B. turned down TOTTER but they are still very much interested
in PITFALL.
Robert White (the inventor of DYNAMITE will be sending her one
game a month. He had an arrangement with Parker to send them a game
every two months, but they never took any. It is coming to an end but he
won't renew it.
Told her of the contracts for TAM-BIT and TAKE-5. She was pleased.

To Arthur's after work. Wald there too.
Showed them TEMPO, INTERPLAY, and ODD OR EVEN. They cared for them in that order, but weren't crazy about any of them.
They showed me a new version of PARIS. when 3 play the 32 card
High Deck is used. Three rounds are played with each player in turn
playing with a dummy accross from him. Each player is dealt 2 cards
and two are placed face down for the dummy. The player to the
dummy's right leads to the first trick. Then the dummy
is opened and a card played from it, etc. House has no
bearing and there is never a necessity to follow the lead.
The highest card of the hierarchy led (minor or major)
wins the trick. If a tie, first led wins.
A "revolution" is playing the companion minor to the last
preceding card, if that one was winning the trick so far. A
"suppression" is a similar playing of a major on a minor. This can
be repeated. Thus a trick can consist of S-P-S-P <s>any houses</s>
(any mixture of houses) and is won by the final priest.
<s>The hand is finish</s> At the beginning of the game 4 cards are
placed face up on the table. After a trick the winner takes
any one of those into his hand. Another is faced from the
deck and the next player chooses one. Etc.
The game is over when a trick is won by a "revolution" or
"suppression". If not won in this way the player (or team)
taking the last trick wins.
Only the winner (or winning team) scores. The first
