SATURDAY 24 MAY 1969
144th day - 221 days to come

BB sent a letter and the [copyright] assignment forms to Esquire
Magazine.

Played THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS with Dana and he didn't care
for it all. Then played with the rule that a dial can only
be turned one space in either direction. We both liked
it better. In evening tried it that way with BB and she found
it very confusing. I agreed that the scores stayed very small.

I tried the puzzle by lining up three of the ouutside
wheels and found it much too easy. BB suggested
writing the rules with a red herring and saying that
any one color has to be made to loop thru all 9 dials.
I was pretty upset about the way it is working out.
