Called Claude to tell him that I saw his puzzles in several places
at the show. Date to go there Friday,
Rcd. a letter from Haar Hoolim. Had a game REDUCTION. Also
said I was in Martin Gardner's April column.
Tried to call Chris Wagner. Phone disconnected. Called Jim
Dunnigan after 12, and asked about Chris. The distribution
thru A.H. flopped and some ether things. Chris was so
depressed, and in money troubles that he wanted to drop everything.
Jim convinced him to continue STRATEGY & TACTICS and
to drop the other PAC activities. Jim will give the royalties
from his A.H. game LUFTWAFFE to Chris for the magazine.
I said that I certainly didn't want to be paid for my column.
Jim will be here for supper next Thursday and will
try to get Chris to come down.
Jim will bring me information on, or copies of, the following games:
LUFTWAFFE, ITALY, MARRIAGE, CRIME AND PUNISHMENT, and ORIGINS OF WORLD WAR II
(which A.H. is interested in.)
