MONDAY 28 APRIL 1969 118th day - 247 days to come

Brought DIGIT to Felicia at her apartment, 8:30 on my way to work. She thought the model looked better than the 3M packaging of the card games.

Felicia called. She had a letter from Will Erickson. They are sending a contract for SPELLBINDER. They want Felicia to meet with them on May 20th. No hint about what.

Stan Harris called. They are working on TAM-BIT and AIRLINE. He has an appointment with an artist Wednesday who will do art work on TAM-BIT. He'll come tomorrow to pick up the board. He'll also bring me a game A to Z.

Rcd. the rules for FEUDAL and a Bookshelf copy of FOIL from Bill Caruson.

Chris Wagner called. He'll come here next Monday, and I'll have the column ready for him then.

well cards. High bidder gets these instead of an oil well card. Overhead depends on the number of wells and a low producer can be unprofitable. Science GAME:- making use of pivots, balances, etc. (Will said that the EduPlaytional games should preferably have manipulative gadgets.)

Barbara Francis called. Asked about the (c) material. I told her next week. Told her about the (R) problem. She checked and the review section has already been set. I'll have to catch it in proofreading and will be charged for each line changed. (Felicia said the charge is not high.) Barbara said the galleys will be ready by next Wednesday and they that the Random House editors want it done at once. She said I shouldn't panic and that whenever I get it done it will be done.

The article [crossed out]. "An annotated biblio- graphy of suggested manipulative devices." came from Tom Atwater.

A card came from Adler's that EUGEN OKER'S SPIELWIESE was available.

At Brentano's downtown bought ZAP! Looked at SENSITIVITY but only briefly. Went there with Wald and Arthur after having supper together. Broke up early. Will go to their house in a few weeks to see new version of POWER.
