FRIDAY 21 FEBRUARY 1969 52nd day - 313 days to come

Felicia called. She hasn't gotten the games from Bryce Russell and asked for my comments on them. Told her I'd read the rules over the weekend and call her Monday.

  • Funanza Game Co.
  • Daystar
  • Ajak Products Co. returned because I left out the street number.

BB made out a form letter for: ArtCo, Inc. & A & L Mfg. Co., Inc. Also a new set of rough cards for SPELLBINDER.

(cont. from 12/22) [2/26] When one player has all his men captured or in the pit, the game is over. Men in the pit count 10 points for the player getting them in. Captured men count 5 points for the cap- turer. CROSS UP POKER - (Jerry is getting royalties for this, even tho it is completely changed from his original idea which I saw last year under the name SCORE.) This is played with about 2 deck of miniature cards. They are placed like POKER SQUARES on a special rack which keeps them secret from the other players. 2, 3, or 4 can play (I think). After each player has placed 25 cards, he takes a special betting a set of 10 chips in his color (numbered 4 @ 3, 3 @ 2, 3 @ 1) and places them on a layout which is numbered from 1 to 10 and corresponds with numbers for the 10 hands (diagonals not being considered). Then, starting with hand #1, the hands are compared. Winner of each hand wins the chips placed on that hand. Most points, counting chips at their number, wins. FINDER'S KEEPERS - There is a board with differently shaped and colored spaces (25 I think) in a random distribution of shapes & colors. There are an equal number of plastic pcs., also in different colors and shapes, which are like shallow cups. There are enough coins to place under all the cups. Each player (2, 3, or 4, I think) has a set of chips (how many?). Players in turn lift a cup, take the coin, place one of their chips, and then replace the cup. When a player picks up a cup with another player's chip under it he must give that player a coin. If he picks up a cup with his own chips under he must give each player a coin and put one under the cup and take back his chip. Games end when 1 player is out of chips. Most coins wins. ROLOMATIC BRIDGE - 40 different hands on a roll and (cont. on 2/20)
