FRIDAY 30 AUGUST 1968
243rd day - 123 days to come
Called Lee Horn to ask about Audrey Pierce. Lee said that she had had a
busy week and will contact me next week. Told Lee about BAZAAR
being a good family game. Asked her if Alice had reached her yesterday.
She didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Checked with
Alice and she had spoken to Lee's secretary and Lee had found a picture
which Alice received today.
Thought of a GAME idea. There is a grid with the coordinates
identified with letters on one edge and numbers on the other.
There is a set of cards which identify a square or rectangle;
such as CE-36. A number of these are faced up and players
place markers in turn (how?) trying to get a majority in
a defined area. Score area when get a majority in that area.
When scored some of the markers (which?) are removed. (Just
a germ of an idea.)
The model of [illegible cross-out] EXECUTIVE DECISION was returned by mail to me.
No letter yet.
