THURSDAY 29 AUGUST 1968
242nd day - 124 days to come
Claude called. He asked me if LOA is at I/S. I think so.
He saw 3 of the 3M games discounted at "Buy Right".
I reminded him to try to get me a copy of BATTA HAI, which he
saw for $1.25 or $1.50 some time ago.
He is thinking of a passtime called FLYING PIZZA. I told him that
there had been a game of that name some time ago.
He knew about it, but didn't think it important. His idea is to have a paddle
which tosses a plastic "pizza" into the air. He asked for a suggestion
on how to make the "pizza". I suggested two pieces of plastic stitched
over a piece of felt.
Dave, Ricki, and I played PSYCHE-PATHS. Quite good. I read the
rules hastily and got the ending wrong. We played that play continued
until no player could score, and didn't include a penalty for
remaining pieces.
Alice called to ask for Lee Horn's number. She wants a glossy of
BAZAAR. She talked the toy store owner into including it in his
catalog.
