FRIDAY 16 AUGUST 1968
Bennington Battle Day (Vt.)
229th day - 137 days to come
Will called Alice again. They'll send new contracts, but will go
ahead with INFINITE PLANE and VENTURE CAPITAL in the meantime.
At Stern's Bought 50 EASY STEPS TO THE WHITE HOUSE.
Saw KER-PLUNK (Ideal). There is a plastic bottle with a series of
small holes at the neck. Sticks are inserted at random thru
the holes and a number of balls are dropped against them.
Players in turn withdraw a stick. If a ball (or balls) fall
down it scores against the player. There are different scoring
compartments that the balls settle into.
At Brentano's bought MEM at a 50 [cents] reduction because no one
else could figure out how to open it. Spoke to the woman there,
who I have spoken to before. Told her that BAZAAR was an
excellent family game for children even as young as six. She said
that ACQUIRE was one of their best sellers.
