At Savoy Toy Store saw <u>GRAB A LOOP</u> (M.B.), 3 to 6 can play.  <br>
Each player has a bolt with 6 sockets mounted on it.  <br>
The bolt is fastened so that the two sockets are in front,  <br>
two in back, and one on each side. Each player is numbered  <br>
from 1 to 6. Each has a set of colored loops, 6 colors  <br>
(I think) with his number on each. These are inserted  <br>
in the sockets. There are 6 plastic bases, one for each player.  <br>
The bases, for the number of players playing, are arranged  <br>
in as large a circle as the room permits. Player  <br>
no. 1 announces a color and all the players leave their  <br>
bases and enter the playing circle - "arena". Object to  <br>
grab loops of the chosen color and avoid having yours  <br>
grabbed. You can twist your body to defend your loop  <br>
but may not use your hands. When a player has grabbed  <br>
a loop he can place a foot on his base and his loop is  <br>
then free from capture. When only two remain they may  <br>
agree to each return, ending the round. Continue until  <br>
all the colors have been called (in turn by the players).  <br>
Players score 10points for each captured loop and 5 points  <br>
for each loop of their own not captured.  <br>
If a player grabs a wrong colored loop he must return  <br>
it to the owner and also give him a penalty loop.  <br>
If a loop is found on the floor it is returned to its owner.
