To 5th Ave. Bldg. again. While waiting for Mel Meyer looked at
Toy & Hobby World. Had an ad for COUPLE a piece about
COUPLE UP (Continental Electronics Inc.) with a picture.
Showed a fellow and a girl with gadgets strapped to
their forehead, each knee, and each elbow. These apparently,
can be coupled.

Showed Mel Meyer DATA. Didn't care for it.
PAYOFF: Wants a week to think about it. The secretary
suggested having corporation names on the coalition cards
so that players are combining to form a corporation.
Mell, and another manufacturer Bill (?) liked the idea.
Mel also thought something should be introduced to build
a climax.
TAKE A NUMBER: They liked this at once. They preferred using
a two-minute timer and having each player work by himself
I suggested using both versions. Mel wanted to take
the game along with him but I wanted to take it home
since the rules still have to be wrtitten. I'll bring it,
and possibly PAYOFF next Friday. I will try to think
of a more catchy name for TAKE A NUMBER.
