Thinking of a pencil & paper GAME. Each player draws a
secret 6 x 6 layout and places
numbers in a layoiut which contains
the following 6 sequences: 1 2 3 4 5,
2 3 4 5 6, 3 4 5 6 7, 4 5 6 7 8, 1 3 5 7, 2 4 6 8. Then
in turn players call out the coordinates
of a square and are told the
contents of that square. Object is
to be the first to locate the exact
position of the other players 6 sequences.

If he has any errors he
loses. If a player inadvertently
more than one of the same series
the opponent may locate either.
The player who first locates his
opponents sequences wins one point for each empty space
in his own layout (giving a premium for a compact layout).
If in error his opponent wins that same amount the
amount based on his layout (the opponent's own layout).
The game can be played by more than 2 by players
in turn calling a coordinate set and all players giving its
contents, including the player calling the set. Have to
work out the scoring.

Called Bill Bentzin to ask him to check with Jim Morgan when he
goes to Minnesota next week whether Jim rcd. my new
variation for BAZAAR. He was supposed to call back but didn't.

Spoke to Alice. Champion Games wrote saying they were returning
all the games since they did not fit in with their
marketing plans. They are : - INFINITE PLANE, SPECTRUM, TOPPLE,
SPECTRUM, TOPPLE, SUCCESSION.
The letter came some time ago but Alice was busy getting
off two EduPLAYtional Games to 3M, one of her own and
one of Ruth's.
