FRIDAY 23 FEBRUARY
1968 54th day - 312 days to come
Alice called. She rcd. a letter from Will Erickson. They are still evaluating
BALI. They are looking for other card games because it is easier to
market a line rather than a single game. So far they haven't found any.
Alice and I have decided to submit VENTURE CAPITAL (after I redo the cards)
and HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME.
Rcd. a letter from Dr. Atwater. At his first look he thought
INTERPLAY, TEMPO, & ODD OR EVEN were good, professional, and
right for "seemed first-rate, ideal for Stancraft, very interesting,
and professionally done." Sent me suggestions and a contract
form. Will send me more info after trying them out.
To Claude's in evening. Showed him INTERPLAY, TEMPO, & ODD OR EVEN.
He wasn't terribly impressed.
Played 4-hand PENALTY BAZAAR with BB, Claude & Anne. They Then
played 6-hand including Frankie & Barbara. They all liked the
new variation better than the original. It worked fine with adding
3, even with 6 players.
Brought KNOTS TO YOU for Jacquie to use at her party.
Claude gave me an ad from the Times (sometime during the week).
MINITAR: the new game and descriptive booklet of Presidential politics
for Democrats, Independents, and Republicans to fight over... (Peacefully,
of course.) Available at Abercrombie & Fitch.
BB brought registered letters for the three peg games and SPECTRUM
to the post office.
